Reliable from the ground up and of the highest quality – the name Haro has been synonymous with these characteristics for five generations. In these over 140 years, the small matchstick factory has developed into a successful supplier of high-quality parquet flooring in all key markets around the world. The Haro brand stands for extensive expertise and high quality standards in every square foot of floor.
It is a long way from the little tree seedling to the precious parquet floor – at least in terms of time. In terms of transport, however, Haro flooring prefers short ways: The majority of the timber used for producing Haro Parquet comes directly from the area around the production plants. This reduces long, environmentally damaging transports and effectively supports the regional forestry at the same time. As proof that the timber used can be traced and tracked through the entire chain of custody from the certified sustainable managed forest to the final parquet product, Haro products have been PEFC certified since January 2004.
Haro also leads the way in terms of sustainability and environmental protection in production. Haro was one of the first companies in the wood-working industry to be certified according to DIN EN 14001 in 1998 and has been validated to the EU Eco Audit: As a company proudly rooted in the Bavarian region – and in a long tradition – they live by high environmental standards as you can immediately see from the “Blue Angel” eco label awarded to their products.
The range of Junckers 100% solid hardwood floors features a fine selection including ash, merbau, oak, jatoba and uniquely, press-dried beech. In short, a range of colours, from light pale to dark brown.
The wood strip floorboards come in two thicknesses, 14mm thick or 22mm thick and are A+ rated in the Green Guide Specification. Most woods are available in two designs: wood strip floorboards, and wide boards. This makes it possible to create almost any visual expression – and at the same time get the full benefits of a structural floorboard in terms of unrivaled functionality.
Junckers offer three grading ranges with their floors; Variation which is rustic, Harmony which is natural and Classic which is prime grade. If you are looking for a dynamic floor brimming with character, the Variation grade is for you. Whereas, if you prefer a much cleaner and subtle appearance you may like to consider the Classic range.
All Junckers floorboards are pre-finished with an oil or polyurethane seal especially developed and made by Junckers, according to specific wood characteristics and to meet the needs of the finished floor. The extra time that Junckers put into the sealing process produces a perfect, durable and uniquely smooth finish unlike UV finishes seen on most other floorboards.
Most of the hard wood timber from Junckers is basically unsuitable for other purposes than floors and as such implies utilization of forests in the best possible manner that will have the least impact on the local and global environment.
